Jungle Tour Review.

The Jungle Tour
is coming to an end, so I thought I would share my experience. I got a chance to see the tour at it's Houston and it was amazing. Drake put on a show full of energy. Doors opened around 7 and Boosie came out and opened for Drake around 8. After Boosie's 20 minute the wait for Drake continued. Around 9:20 Drake finally came out! The show started out with the first song on his mixtape album, If You're Reading This It's Too Late, LEGEND! The crowd erupted as soon as Drake walked out. Drake followed up the intro by Trophies and We Made It. Then, he paused to acknowledge the crowd and let us know the city of Houston could potentially be hosting the next OVO Fest. The Jungle tour makes SIX stops and he said the city with the livest crowd would host next year's OVO Fest. I'm sure next year he will announce the winner.

The show featured a live band and DJ which made the music that much more amazing. The production of the Jungle Tour was also fascinating. The concert started out with just a screen as the background and later unveiled an actual jungle behind it. I thought that was extremely clever and seemed like it had had taken some time to put together.

Throughout the concert, Drake continued to amp up the crowd. He asked the crowd three time, "Y'all not tired yet, are y'all." Drake has quite a catalog and could perform probably for hours so I commend him for being able to condense everything to a little less than two hours. My favorite moment of the concert was when he performed Jungle, I LOVE THAT SONG! The way he performed was even more amazing. He slowed the song down and sang to the crowd, Drake got all sexy on us! He and his keyboardist definitely turned the song into a ballet.

Drake ended the concert with Legend. He slowed Legend down and sang to the crowd one last time and he left. This was the saddest moment of the crowd.  It's crazy to watch Drake go from barely having a full house at Warehouse Live to selling out the Toyato Center within minutes. Such an inspiration.

Tidal Talk.

Tidal, Tidal, Tidal, that's all people have been talking about over the past few months. Everyday there is a new rumor about what's going on over there at Tidal. For those of you who don't know Tidal is a streaming company that is NOT owned by Jay-Z. That's right despite all of what people have said, Jay-Z doesn't own it, he is a partner of the company. This means Jay-Z isn't the only one controlling what goes on at Tidal. Although, he takes all the heat for what goes on at Tidal.

Recently, there has been rumors of Drake pulling out of his deal with Tidal to pursue a deal with Apple for $19 million. Of course, that is all allegedActually, this figure has been denied by a source Billboard spoke with. "Apple doesn't normally pay artists for those types of collaborations," the source said. I think people are being really harsh to the Tidal service. They are doing whatever they can to break the company down and make sure it is unsuccessful. Tidal isn't the first service to charge for streaming, but it is the first service to represent artists directly. Tidal basically allows everything to go directly through the artists.Which is great, but many people haven't been receptive to that.
